World Cup Qualifier: Samoa Joe vs Jeff Hardy
Joe knocks Hardy into the corner. Hardy punches Joe in his injured knee. Hard dropkicks Joe’s knee. Joe rolls out of the ring, wincing in pain. After the break. Hardy runs into a stiff back elbow by Joe. Joe stalks Hardy’s fallen frame. Hardy struggles to sit up. Joe grabs Hardy’s head and tries to twist it off with a sicking neck vise. Joe slams Hardy down to the mat and flattens Hardy with a senton. Hardy kicks out.
Joe boxes Hardy into the corner. Joe puts Hardy in a bicycle stretch. Hardy catches Joe with an inverted atomic drop. Hardy leg drops Joe’s bandaged leg. Joe trips Hardy out of the ring. Joe tries to kicks Hardy but Hardy moves and Joe ends up kicking the ring steps. Joe rolls into the ring. Hardy relentlessly attacks Joe’s knee. Joe punches Hardy in the face. Joe tries to stand but he falls to the mat. Joe tries to stand again but Joe’s knee buckles yet again. The referee stops the match.
Winner- Jeff Hardy
