#2.) NXT Takeover: Respect
In the conclusion of Sasha Banks’ storied NXT run, she would put it on the line at Full Sail University one last time in a 30-minute Iron Man match in the main event of NXT Takeover: Respect. Both Sasha Banks and Bayley put it all on the line in an all-out war for NXT Women’s Championship.
It was a much-anticipated match-up with big names like Lita and Stephanie McMahon ringside. The two delivered in a big way, with Bayley winning the match in the final seconds of the time limit. Everyone was on their feet and the entire NXT locker room (including Triple H, William Regal and more) came out to give the two women an ovation.
Triple H would hand Bayley a boquet of flowers and raise her hand in triumph, not only for the victory that night, but the victory of the women’s division as a whole. Sasha Banks stood by the rest of the roster and broke down in tears as William Regal and Sara Amato comforted her. If that isn’t a career-defining moment, then nothing else is.
