Madison Rayne’s run as Knockout’s Champion in 2011 was a very interesting one. Between the months of May to July, Rayne would put her title on the line three times with a major stipulation. Each match saw her defend her title and if she were to win, her opponent would have to retire.
Her first victim was Tara, who she faced at Sacrifice. She beat her and sent her packing. The following month, she beat Roxxi at Slammiversary VIII to send her packing from the company as well. The third match would see her defend the title against Angelina Love. This time, however, it was made clear that if Velvet Sky or Lacey Von Erich were to interfere, Love would win the title, even via disqualification. Thankfully for Love, she managed to walk away with the title in hand and her career intact.
