Many consider Gail Kim to be the heart and soul of TNA’s Knockouts Division, which is why she became the first female inductee. This holds true and her Steel Cage lockdown match with Madison Rayne defines the Knockouts Division in many ways and just how far ahead they were. There were no “revolution” tags attached to them. It was simply a roster of women who gave everything they had with the opportunities given to them.
Gail Kim and Madison Rayne had an outstanding, heated rivalry that involved stipulations such as street fights. While Rayne had beaten Kim to win her 5th Knockouts title, the two had constantly exchanged wins over each other, proving to be worthy opponents for one another. It would all culminate inside a steel cage match where Rayne would put to rest her feud with Kim and retain the Knockouts title.
