#3.) Briefly retired from professional wrestling
In 2006 when wrestling in Germany, Becky Lynch, then going by the name Rebecca Knox, faced a Finnish wrestler named Kisu. Kisu would botch a spot that unfortunately made her land right on Becky’s head, injuring her badly. The wound sustained was a career-threatening injury and it was even feared that she would suffer brain damage.
She was supposed to appear in a return in 2008 but no-showed as she felt wrestling wasn’t the right career choice for her at the time. It wasn’t until 2011 that she made her return to pro-wrestling.
