#2.) Wasn’t meant to debut with The Shield
At WrestleMania 28 weekend, Mick Foley was in the midst of an interview before being interrupted by Ambrose. In a mix of kayfabe and reality, things went viral. It was reportedly planned for Ambrose to join the main roster and feud with Foley. Unfortunately, nothing came to pass as Foley wasn’t medically cleared.
Luckily, it all worked out for the best as he would debut seven months later as part of The Shield. Had the original plan worked out, things would have been very different. The entire course of WWE history would have been changed and its quite unlikely that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins would have reached the level they did.
Sometimes, things happen for the better and this case is one such example.
