#1.) First woman to main event a Pay-Per-View
Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks were in the middle of an ongoing rivalry when Hell In A Cell was around the corner. It was only inevitable that the two would take their rivalry to a whole new level, going into the cell, something that no woman had done before. The match was soon made official by then-RAW GM Mick Foley.
With two other Hell In A Cell matches, fans strongly felt that Charlotte vs Sasha was the hottest feud going on, thus deserving of the main event spot. It was teased but not confirmed and only during the event did fans realize that WWE was giving them what they wanted – the first-ever Women’s main event on PPV. The two delivered in a big way, setting a whole new bar for the women and a big step forward in the women’s evolution. Charlotte would be victorious in the bout, becoming a three-time women’s champion.
