#5.) ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin

Being among the top stars of The Attitude Era, Undertaker and Steve Austin crossed paths on more than just one occasion.  You might be surprised to find out that the two were even tag team champions at one point, even if it were just for two days.

Perhaps their most memorable encounter was a feud for SummerSlam 1998, where Steve Austin was the WWF Champion. The build to the match was outstanding and it even had one of the greatest video packages ever – “Highway to Hell”.

They had a classic at MSG in the main event of SummerSlam, with Undertaker insisting that he didn’t need Kane to interfere. Austin even got a concussion during the match but Undertaker helped him through it, being the world-class performer that he was.

The two would clash again during the “higher power” storyline the following year when Undertaker tried to forcefully marry Stephanie McMahon. This storyline would see Undertaker beat Austin for the WWF Championship, though he lost it back to him over a month later.
