Braun Strowman participated in and won the Arnold Amateur Strongman Championship in 2012. Aside from this, he won six titles between 2010 and 2012.
He even participated in the Arnold Strongman Classic in 2013 but was out of the first round due to an injury. It was soon after this that the WWE noticed him and he signed a WWE contract. The rest, as they say, is history.
