#5.) Teaming with Owen Hart
Owen Hart is in the eyes of many, the most underrated wrestler in WWE history. It wasn’t just his fine in-ring skills and psychology but his mic skills, which many considered better than his brother Bret’s. A great all-round performer, Owen Hart struggled to gain popularity with the WWE Universe at the time after a string of bad gimmicks.
It was WrestleMania VII when The Hart Foundation lost the Tag Team titles to The Nasty Boys, Bret Hart went on a singles run that would turn out to be the most legendary ones ever, while Neidhart was forced to go his own way as well. A year later, WWE decided to pair him up with Owen Hart in what was called “The New Foundation”. Though they didn’t win the tag team gold, it was a great step up for Owen Hart and a great opportunity for Neidhart to mentor him and push him further than he had gone before.
