#3.) Triple H vs ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin – No Way Out 2001

The story between Triple H and Stone Cold went back all the way back to 1999 when Steve Austin was taken out after being hit by a car. While Rikishi initially admitted that he had done it for The Rock, it was later revealed that Triple H was the real perpetrator behind the attack.

After crossing each other’s paths and costing each other the WW(E)F Championship, the two finally battled it out in a 3 stages of Hell match at No Way Out in 2001.  The three stipulations were a singles match, a street fight and a cage match.

Triple H would win the bout, but it was Stone Cold Steve Austin who would end up facing The Rock and winning the WW(E)F Championship at WrestleMania X7 while Triple H was defeated by The Undertaker at the event.
