#5.) Triple H vs Cactus Jack – No Way Out 2000
Just a month after their classic street fight at the Royal Rumble, Mick Foley had one last opportunity at the WW(E)F Championship. Triple H had asked Foley to choose their stipulation, and Foley chose Hell In A Cell. In what was supposed to be his retirement match, the two legends had a gruelling, violent bout that saw the use of a flaming barbwire, thumbtacks and steel chairs. To top it all off, when the action went to the top of the cell, Foley was backdropped and went right through it, landing flat on his back after a huge fall from the top.
Triple H would win and retain the title and Foley would go into retirement. But as we know with many wrestling retirements, they don’t last very long. Foley would be back in a month just on time for the WrestleMania 2000 main event.
