#3.) Defeating Triple H at WrestleMania 33
It seemed like the original plan for WrestleMania 32 was going to see a collision course between Seth Rollins and Triple H. However, Rollins’ 2015 injury prevented that from happening. They did revisit the feud later that year and it eventually culminated at WrestleMania 33.
Seth Rollins was almost set to miss WrestleMania 33 as well after attaining an injury on Samoa Joe’s RAW debut. However, he was cleared on the nick of time and it all went full-circle. From 2014 where Triple H “brought” Seth Rollins’ loyalty to Rollins coming out of it all a better man, it was an emotional storyline that saw Rollins emerge as the better man and The Kingslayer. He would finish Triple H with the pedigree, making it the last time he ever used it. Perfect storytelling with a perfect ending.
