Seth Rollins would be first on this list, but he has a lot more to prove to reach the level of the man who will be #1. In 2016, WWE brought back the brand split and the draft was a highly-anticipated episode on SmackDown Live. He wasn’t the WWE Champion, but the RAW authority figures, who got the first pick, were quick to choose The Architect as their first overall pick.
It was a huge move and Seth Rollins, for the next few years, would have an incredible ascent on RAW, with his character arc taking a few twists and turns. He turned out to be a long-term bargain.
