#5.) The Great Khali 

The Great Khali was surprisingly the #1 overall pick, going to SmackDown in 2007. Edge was the World Heavyweight Champion at the time and had won the right for SmackDown to make the first pick. Khali turned out to be that pick. Unfortunately for Edge, he would have to vacate the World Heavyweight title, leaving a spot open in a Battle-Royale match (the biggest one ever).

In the match, Khali ended up winning and capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. While his run wasn’t great by any means, he makes it on the list because of the immediate impact he was able to cause and still had plenty of potential in 2007.
