#2.) Seth Rollins – 2016 –
Seth Rollins is one superstar who benefited on the long run. He was known as Monday Night Rollins because from December 2012 till mid-November 2015, he hadn’t missed a single episode of RAW. In 2016, he was the first overall draft pick, which was big in itself. But it actually took him quite some time to find his stride.
WWE took their own sweet time pushing him, with his babyface turn coming first and then a long unsuccessful chase to become Universal Champion. He spent a good part of 2017 and 2018 holding the Tag Team titles and the Intercontinental Championship, but he still hadn’t reached that level.
When Roman Reigns announced his unfortunate leukemia, it opened up a spot and Seth Rollins was the obvious choice to be the top babyface. In 2019, his journey was complete and he would become RAW’s top babyface, winning the Universal title twice in four months.
