#5.) The Bar
The Bar’s formation happened through an extremely interesting storyline in 2016, where then-RAW GM Mick Foley forced a heel Sheamus to team up with a babyface Cesaro. They hated each others’ guts but had undeniable chemistry and dominance in the ring. The story was told well and they would form a new tag team known as “The Bar”. For over 2 and half years, The Bar would be one of the gold standards of WWE’s tag team division.
From being polar opposite superstars, they became one unit over time and eventually, one of the best tag teams in the world. It translated to plenty of championship success and in 2019, the team was abruptly split up. Sheamus was on a hiatus post-WrestleMania after a nagging injury and due to some confusion in the superstar Shake-Up, the final decision was made to send Cesaro over to RAW, where he got a new theme song and resumed his run as a singles star after nearly three full years.
