Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt was actually quite an underrated rivalry as a whole. It lasted from June 2015 and concluded at Hell in a Cell 2015. The story was intense enough that it warranted a Hell in a Cell match and that’s exactly what happened. It felt like a battle of two completely even superstars and it turned out to be quite the war.
It was a great piece of storytelling and the crowd had a polarizing reaction, constantly chanting “Let’s go, Roman! Roman Sucks!”, similar to what John Cena faced for a decade. Reigns would end up winning the physical and intense war, thus putting an end to their grudge rivalry.
