#4.) vs. Goldberg – WrestleMania 33
Goldberg returned in 2016 to right the wrong that was his final match at WWE in WrestleMania 20. He received a hero’s welcome and would squash Lesnar in their rematch after 12 years – putting him away in just 86 seconds. It seemed as though Goldberg had his number and it even led to him eliminating The Beast Incarnate with relative ease at the Royal Rumble.
It all culminated at WrestleMania 33, with Lesnar challenging Goldberg one last time. This time around, Goldberg had the Universal Championship in hand and fans were curious as to how they would avoid a repeat of their match 13 years prior. They were taken by surprise when the two titans had an intense 5-minute war that didn’t see either superstar get a breath for even a second.
It felt like watching a legitimate Heavyweight title fight and Brock Lesnar would finally overcome the demons of his past, defeating Goldberg clean for the first time and also starting a 500+d day reign as Universal Champion.
