#4.) Seth Rollins – Pedigree
This may not be considered a valid entry to the list because Seth Rollins stopped using the pedigree in 2017, but it’s still very important in the timeline of things. This is one of those cases where Rollins’ original finisher “The Curb Stomp” was banned and he needed to come up with something new.
It seems as though Triple H gave him his blessing and even in storyline, it made sense for Rollins to use the finisher that his mentor had given him. Ultimately, it was all a long-term plan and at WrestleMania 33, he faced his mentor in a rather underrated match. He finished Triple H with the pedigree and that was the last he ever used of it.
He would use a knee strike finisher for a while but that really didn’t click since it had a new name every week. Finally, he was allowed to use The Stomp again and everything felt right again.
