Shawn Michaels is another superstar who had an unnecessary comeback in 2018, but we’ll sweep that aside, particularly since Michaels wasn’t crazy about that match either. But prior to that, he was one of the few superstars who never came out of retirement for anything. In 2010, his time was running up and he was all set to face The Undertaker for the second year in a row at WrestleMania.
Fans were torn in half when they found out it would be a Career vs Streak match, as they didn’t want to see either legend lose. However, the time had come and Michaels, like a true warrior, went out with all guns blazing. It wasn’t enough to put away The Undertaker, but even in defeat, Shawn Michaels concluded what may perhaps be one of the greatest careers in wrestling history.
