#4.) vs John Cena – 2014
John Cena was the franchise player of WWE for over a decade. Being the #1 guy, he was constantly well-protected and very rarely lost clean, if at all. When it came to his rivalries, there was hardly a single one where he didn’t end up getting the last laugh. However, in 2014, he was presented with the daunting task of defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Brock Lesnar.
While many fans knew that Lesnar would be winning (as he was long overdue for another World title win), nobody expected it to be in the manner that it did. In a relatively short match, Brock Lesnar absolutely squashed John Cena to pulp, with the leader of the Cenation getting minimal offense in. It was no all-time great but it was an absolute shocker to see Cena get manhandled and lose the title in that way, especially given that he was the #1 guy at one point.
