#5.) vs Sabu – Hardcore Justice 2010
TNA decided to give a token gesture to the ECW alumni and have them compete at their own event titled Hardcore Justice. The main event saw RVD take on Sabu and it did everything it could to relive the spirit of the old ECW. As expected, the two went to war and brutalized each other with all available weapons ringside.
It was as hardcore as they could get at that age and it truly did justice to the old ECW spirit. RVD was unbelievably over and Sabu held his own as well. Ultimately, RVD would win the match. After the match, the ECW alumni had a reunion of sorts and thanked Impact Wrestling for doing justice by them.
