Sheamus had a lot to prove after his 18-second win over Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 28. Getting the shorter end of the stick despite being victorious, WWE knew that both Bryan and Sheamus needed to go out and steal the show in a big way. A month after WrestleMania 28, that’s exactly what they did, as Sheamus defended the World Heavyweight title against Bryan in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.
The match was nothing short of physical, with both men bringing the very best out of each other. Sheamus had to dig really deep to narrowly escape with his World title, beating Bryan 2 falls to 1.
