#2.) Jack Swagger vs Randy Orton – 2010 (Extreme Rules match)
Jack Swagger’s World Heavyweight Championship reign isn’t particularly well-remembered. To the most part, it was underwhelming primarily because it was clear that they were pushing a guy who wasn’t ready for that position just yet. However, he did have a few really good matches during his run, the best of which was an Extreme Rules match against The Viper Randy Orton.
Orton, to his credit, helped carry Swagger to a really good match and it felt as though it could have been a legitimate main event. More than anything, it actually made Swagger look like a big star and the fact that there was a clean finish only made Swagger look better going ahead. Orton doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves but his effort to put over Swagger must be commended.
