It’s crazy to think even in hindsight that ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and The Rock‘s run on top put together came up to all but four years. Admittedly, those were the four most impactful years in WWE history, but Cena himself has been on top longer than both put together and a couple of years longer than Hulk Hogan.
It’s no easy task to be the franchise player of WWE but Cena truly hit the ball out of the park. The resilience, patience and dedication to be on top for that long is no easy feat and that’s why he very much deserves to be in the same conversation as Austin, The Rock and Hogan.
