#2.) Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty – RAW July
As mentioned, RAW often felt like Shawn Michaels and the Intercontinental title show for a good part of 1993. Michaels had exchanged the title with Marty Jannetty a couple of times, with one particular instance being thanks to the distraction caused by Mr. Perfect. Michaels did win it back a few weeks later at a house show courtesy of Diesel, but he needed to have a blowoff match with Jannetty.
They would face off on RAW and topping their effort at the Royal Rumble, stole the night in the opening contest. Michaels wounded up retaining the title and moving forward.
