#4.) Nia Jax
Nia Jax was clearly a big prospect primarily because she possessed a unique look. She was pushed fairly quickly in NXT despite having many holes in her game, but with world-class superstars like Bayley as her opponents, her weaknesses were covered quite a bit. Moreover, it was clear that she was among the greenest superstars on NXT television and required a lot of time to develop.
Despite this, she ended up spending less than a year in NXT before joining the main roster as a part of the brand split in 2016. She lacked the in-ring ability and mic skills and needed quite some time to take off on the main roster. She finally got her moment to shine in 2018 at WrestleMania 34, but her reign was short-lived.
She also got criticized quite a lot due to multiple incidents of botches during matches. She definitely needed another year or two in developmental.
