#3.) Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch – WrestleMania 32
WrestleMania 32 was the first real opportunity that women were given to shine at the grandest stage of them all. While Trish Stratus vs Mickie James was the benchmark, fans knew that they had new and fresh talent who could take it to another level. The triple threat match saw Divas Champion Charlotte Flair take on Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch for the inaugural WWE Women’s Championship.
The match itself turned out to be an instant classic, stealing the show. However, the entire match and energy of it was all deflated when the unpopular Charlotte Flair walked out as the inaugural champion. The expectation was that Sasha Banks would be the winner as she had the most momentum of the three. Moreover, it was the right time to pull the trigger on her.
WWE probably felt that starting the lineage with a Flair was a better decision.
