#2.) The Rock vs ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin – Backlash

Though their WrestleMania contest was epic, their No Holds Barred match just shy of a month later was even better. The best part about the Austin-Rock dynamic was how different it felt each time. This was a real brawl-style match-up, which naturally made Austin look great. Unsurprisingly, there was interference left, right and center, with Shane McMahon being the main culprit. However, he accidentally hit The Rock with the WWF Championship when attempting to sock Austin.

All the chaos led to The Rock walking into a stunner and losing the match. He would turn babyface a day later in one of the greatest turns of all time.
