#4.) The Miz vs John Morrison – RAW January 3rd
John Morrison began feuding with Sheamus from the King of the Ring finals, with the two exchanging wins and Morrison beating The Celtic Warrior for a WWE title shot at TLC. This led him to the biggest opportunity of his career – a match against his former tag team partner and then-reigning WWE Champion The Miz.
The Miz wasn’t exactly lighting the world on fire with his run, but that’s because he wasn’t ready for it at the time (but that’s a whole other story). But this presented the most interesting match they could have. And on all accounts, they delivered with a solid match that had great psychology to it.
The Miz was always going to walk out with the title intact, but this was perhaps the best match of his WWE title run.
