#2.) Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels – Vengeance
In case you didn’t already figure it out – Vengeance was an incredible card from top to bottom. Kurt Angle had the match of the year with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21 in what was an interpromotional match. After being drafted to RAW a few months later, he instantly resumed his feud with HBK, leading to a match at Vengeance.
While it could be argued that they didn’t live up to their prior contest, that’s really saying something, because this was a classic from bell to bell. They once again proved that they knew each other all too well. Michaels would get his vengeance this time, beating Angle.
