Sting was the face of WCW and the greatest homegrown talent ever produced. A loyal soldier until the end, Sting enjoyed multiple WCW World Championship reigns, both as the surfer with bleach blonde hair and as the vigilante. The company clearly had enough faith in him that they made Ric Flair go out of their way to put him over – something he was more than happy to do.
He was the heart and soul of WCW and the company would not have reached the same levels without him.
