Ric Flair was always more of a WCW guy than he was a WWE guy. That speaks for itself in his tenure with the company and the impact that he had. It was prior to his 1991-1992 WWE run and it was also after. He accumulated a lot of World titles during this time and though his later reigns are best forgotten about, he did a great job in terms of drawing good money, particularly in his feud against Randy Savage.
Flair had to fight through his own battles politically backstage, but ultimately, it was all a part of his legacy that made him the greatest of all time.
