#2.) The British Bulldog vs Owen Hart – RAW 1997

This match is an underrated gem. Taped in Germany, it was the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever WWF European Champion. Despite the tournament being star-studded, the finals came down to The British Bulldog vs Owen Hart. Mind you, the two were tag team champions at the time and Bulldog was even Owen Hart’s real-life brother-in-law.

The two put on a match that was technical excellence on every level, with Davey Boy Smith clearly playing the role of the face during the match. After going on for a quarter of an hour, it was The Bulldog who ended up winning, becoming the inaugural European Champion.
