#5.) Trish Stratus vs Stephanie McMahon – No Way Out 2001
Early 2001 saw a young up-and-coming Trish Stratus get right into the spotlight, as she was involved in a storyline with Mr. McMahon, being his mistress. She was a heel at the time and so was Stephanie McMahon. It was a rather simple story of Stephanie not approving of Stratus being her father’s mistress and it led to a match at No Way Out.
Mind you, both women were extremely inexperienced at this point, with Stratus still having years left in her career before making it to the legendary status that she did. Despite being green, the two women put on a solid and entertaining match, one that was typical of the chaos that prevailed in the Attitude Era.
Thanks to William Regal, Stephanie McMahon managed to beat Stratus. While Stephanie would stay as a heel, Stratus would turn babyface soon after.
