#3.) Asuka
Asuka was, bar none, the most dominant champion in NXT history. Male or female, she even proved to be one of the best workers in the company, and NXT must be given credit for the incredible way they presented her as compared to the main roster. Knowing that English and talking in the language was her weakness, they made sure to protect her in the simplest way possible – by hardly making her talk at all.
She had an aura of invincibility about her at the time, so much so that Triple H even refused to let Vince McMahon call her up to the main roster, referring to her as the “anchor” of NXT. She was such an important part to not just the women’s division, but the brand as a whole. Her reign would last a whopping 522 days (actually 510) before she relinquished the title to go to RAW.
She was never defeated in NXT in a singles match.
