#3.) The Shield – TLC 2012
At Survivor Series 2012, a trio of men who were trained in Florida Championship Wrestling, but never teamed before had suddenly interfered in the WWE Championship match, allowing CM Punk to retain his title. It would be an incredible debut for the three developmental stars and they were pushed right off the bat, with WWE clearly seeing potential in them, not only as a faction, but later on as singles stars.
Their debut match took place at TLC 2012, where they took on the trio of Ryback, Kane and Daniel Bryan. It was bar none one of the top 5 TLC matches of all time and The Shield instantly got a whole wave of credibility and momentum by making their name off the experienced trio.
The Young guns would then go on to become arguably the greatest faction in WWE history, and though their time was limited, it was only because all three of them were destined for singles main event success.
