#1.) Beating Hulk Hogan at the Georgia Dome
It was July 1998, and Goldberg was at the pinnacle of his undefeated streak. All roads led to a WCW World Championship clash against Hulk Hogan, and in front of over 41,000 people in his hometown of Georgia, WCW gave away a classic icon vs icon match on free television. It was quite a bold move, and while some wonder why they didn’t save it for a bigger stage on PPV, the truth lied in the fact that WCW wanted to one-up WWF in the Monday Night Wars.
Goldberg’s triumphant victory ensured that RAW got absolutely crushed in the ratings that week.
