HBK and The Undertaker only faced each other twice, but it’s hard to argue of their place in WWE history as far as the greatest matches go. At WrestleMania 25, it was simply a battle between two great competitors, and ultimately, it turned out to be the culmination of two elite-level performers at their very peak after years of experience.
It was clear just how good they were and just how great their chemistry was. They would put on what many consider the greatest match in WrestleMania history. WWE knew they had to run it back one more time, and the following year, they would main event WrestleMania, with it being a Streak vs Career match. The biggest match of Michaels’ career, he would fall down to a worthy foe, ending his career in the best way possible.
