#3.) Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage
The Mega Powers exploding is the perfect example of long-term storytelling done right. It all began before WrestleMania 4, and the first major event was Hulk Hogan helping Randy Savage become WWF Champion. Savage would go on to hold the title for a full year but towards WrestleMania V, there were signs of implosion.
Savage began to get jealous of Hogan’s treatment of Miss Elizabeth, believing that he was “lusting after her”. Soon enough, Savage would assault Hogan in one of the best slow-burn builds in a while. It would all culminate at WrestleMania V, where Hogan defeated Savage to conclude their incredible mega-powers storyline.
