#1.) Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior – WrestleMania VI
In the turn of 1990, there were no bigger stars in the WWF than Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. They were the two top undisputed stars of the company, despite Warrior not having won a world title by that point. However, WWE felt that Warrior was the man to carry the company on his shoulders going forward, and they set up “The Ultimate Challenge” – a champion vs champion match where Hulk Hogan defended the WWF Championship while The Ultimate Warrior defended the Intercontinental Championship.
It was a blockbuster main event, one that saw Hulk Hogan get pinned clean for the first time in his second WWF run. The torch was passed to the Warrior as Hogan raised his hand in endorsement.
