While this may not seem as impressive as some of the other matches on paper, make no mistake about it, this was definitely one of the greatest Chamber matches till date. Being the very first one, there was a lot on the line and WWE needed to prove that The Chamber match wasn’t just a one-off.
It would prove to be one of the most feel-good moments of the year, as the returning Shawn Michaels would capture his final World Championship. It was mainly to prove that after a few years of retirement, he could still go. He proved that and more for the next seven and a half years.
