Prior to 2014, Kane was head and shoulders the most dominant star in the history of the Rumble, holding the record for 11 eliminations in one match in 2001. However, it was only a matter of time before the record was broken, and it was The Big Dog Roman Reigns who would do it.
In 2014, he ended up getting a whopping 12 eliminations, reaching the final two in the Rumble. Due to fans not wanting Batista to win, they actually chanted “Let’s go Roman”. Reigns admitted that despite being a heel at the time, it was a surreal moment for him. However, the following year when it was time for him to win the Rumble, he was booed out of the building.
