#3.) New type of contract
As of now, it’s still up in the air as to what type of contract AEW is offering talent. Is it exclusive? Are they planning to work with other promotions? Will talent be allowed to work outside and commit to different dates elsewhere? There are many unanswered questions.
However, with AEW planning to do something different, it’s likely that they could make a new type of contract which is generally more favorable to talent. What the restrictions are, we won’t really know, but it would present a new opportunity to talent to be a part of an up and coming promotion and have all kinds of leverage to benefit both parties.
