Kane’s incredible record wouldn’t be broken for over a decade. That was, however, until the young upstart Roman Reigns outdid him in the 2014 Royal Rumble. The Rumble itself was average at best, with fans outraging at Batista winning the entire thing. Roman Reigns, however, was the one who made the headlines, as he broke Kane’s elimination record of 11 by one.
Reigns lasted till the end, and when fans didn’t want Batista to win, they cheered Reigns despite him being a heel. Unfortunately for Reigns, when he did win the Rumble a year later, the crowd had completely turned on him.
