#1.) Seth Rollins
Something lit a fire under Seth Rollins this year that made him the company workhorse again. It started off from a gauntlet match in February, where Rollins wrestled for over an hour, pinning both John Cena and Roman Reigns and setting a record for the longest time spent in a match in RAW history!
Rollins had a successful WrestleMania outing, winning the Intercontinental title and becoming a grand slam champion. He would go on to be in the Intercontinental title feud, losing it and subsequently winning it back before losing it at the end of the year.
He may not have won a world title, but he became the hottest superstar on RAW and has proven to be a worthy successor in Roman Reigns’ spot (with many arguing that he should have been “the guy” anyway). His character arc took another great turn as well and it’s been one of the most memorable years of his career
