#1.) Becky Lynch

Who would have imagined that by the end of 2018, Becky Lynch would be the single hottest superstar in all of WWE? She began getting a slow, organic push from early on in the year, low-key picking up the best win streak on SmackDown. It led her to a Women’s title shot and Charlotte interjected and once again, stole her thunder.

She had handed Becky Lynch her first loss in months and it all culminated with Becky Lynch turning on Charlotte at SummerSlam 2018, which became a huge turning point for The Lasskicker‘s career. She was portrayed as a heel, but in the eyes of the fans, she had become the biggest babyface ever.

WWE realized this, Becky Lynch recognized this and a month or so after winning the SmackDown Women’s title again, she quietly turned face.  It’s been a rollercoaster year for Becky Lynch and if anything, it proved how much support she has. Hopefully, 2019 has bigger and better things for her.
