#3.) Aleister Black
Aleister Black has had yet another incredible year. He debuted at WrestleMania weekend in 2017 and around one year later, he found himself lifting the NXT Championship. The year started off with Black facing Adam Cole in an outstanding Extreme Rules match, where he was victorious.
It was clear that the next step for him was the NXT Championship. He walked out of WrestleMania weekend victorious and after one successful title defence, he began a feud with Tommaso Ciampa, losing the NXT Championship before getting involved in a feud with Ciampa and Gargano.
He was out with an injury for a while, but his return match against Gargano was fantastic and he hadn’t missed a beat. He’s main roster ready and it’s unlikely that he’s going to win his NXT Championship back. Overall, a year of vast improvement for Black
