#4.) Beating Vader at Starrcade 1993
Ric Flair saving WCW was nothing new. Sid Vicious was set to receive a huge babyface push and a match with Vader at Starrcade which would presumably see his coronation (WCW reportedly taped a lot of episodes with Sid as champion). However, one fatal night in the UK, Vicious and Arn Anderson got into a drunken argument that led to a double stabbing. As a result of this, WCW was forced to pull Sid and give the spot to Flair.
The match was given bigger stakes, where Flair would have to retire if he lost. However, he put on an incredible match and in what many consider the greatest of his 16 world title wins, he pinned Vader to become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
